BEHIND IGNITE

Joe Wyatt is a passionate theatre educator, performer, and director with over 15 years of experience on and off the stage. Originally trained as an actor in England, Joe began his career performing in a range of productions before diving into teaching and theatre education full-time. His love for farce, physical comedy, and bold storytelling led him to complete a Master’s in Theatre & Performance, where he specialised in intercultural theatre.

Joe has worked across the UK and Malaysia, directing youth productions, training aspiring performers, and running drama workshops with infectious energy and a strong belief in the transformative power of theatre.

As a qualified UK teacher and a former Trinity College London examiner, Joe knows what it takes to develop confident, expressive young performers. Ignite Theatre is his way of bringing world-class drama training to young people in Kuala Lumpur — a space to grow in confidence, creativity, and character.
