Take the Stage is a youth theatre festival inspired by the belief that every young person deserves a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Over two exciting evenings, schools are invited to perform published plays on a professional stage, giving their students the chance to experience real theatre beyond the classroom.

This is a non-competitive festival, designed to celebrate collaboration over competition. Each performance is a unique expression of young voices, ideas, and creative energy. By sharing the stage, students not only grow as performers but also as storytellers and members of a vibrant arts community.

Performance Venue: Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC)

Performance Dates: 25th - 27th May

Workshops: Each school will receive two two-hour workshops throughout the rehearsal process.

The festival runs across Three evenings, with two school performances each night. Each participating school will receive dedicated rehearsal and technical time before their performance slot, ensuring a professional and supportive environment for both students and staff.
